The calibration regulations require that sales scales are calibrated.
Every beekeeper's scale in our range is delivered calibrated for your place of use and the calibration is already included in the price! The calibration is valid for two years until the end of the year.
It is also important to note the calibration value. For all scales in this category, the calibration value corresponds to the digit step.
The following maximum permissible calibration values are prescribed:

| from 10 g to less than 50 g | 0,2 g |
| from 50 g to less than 150 g | 0,5 g |
| from 150 g to less than 500 g | 1,0 g |
| from 500 g to less than 2.5 kg | 2,0 g |
| 2.5 kg and more | 5,0 g |
So if you sell honey in jars with a nominal capacity of 500 g, you need a honey scale with a calibration value of 2 g or smaller.
When selecting the maximum load, take into account that when placing the goods on the scale, the scale will be loaded slightly more than just the weight of the goods. For example, if you need to weigh products up to 2 kg, we recommend choosing the 5 kg version instead of the 2 kg version.
Also make sure that the minimum load corresponds to your requirements.
